Janna has been using Maptek Vulcan since 1998 at Barrick Gold Corp.
Previously, geology and block model estimations were being done in one package with engineering in another.
The move to Vulcan allowed Janna to integrate and share data across the technical services group more efficiently.
The best part of working with Maptek according to Janna has been the support.
Janna and her husband like to get away from the computers when not at work and enjoy hiking, camping and fishing.
