Maptek SR3 Laser Scanner

Safe, accurate underground survey

The Maptek SR3 laser scanner is a game changer for surveyors, geologists and geotechnical engineers. It provides a single technical solution for efficient survey of drives and stopes, accurate geological mapping, advanced geotechnical analysis and safe convergence monitoring.

The SR3 is compact and portable. It is simple to set up and operate underground. The integrated camera and dedicated light eliminate lengthy processing times as with open exposure cameras. Use the high resolution digital imagery for detailed geotechnical analysis and high impact visualisation.

Versatile and efficient

The I-Site SR3 allows you to measure voids, drives, and tunnels with ease. Easily capture roofs and walls in tunnels and underground drives without the need for complicated configurations. Integrated levelling automatically corrects scans before processing. You can log onto any web enabled device and conduct a scan remotely.

Versatility is key for any operation. Deploy the SR3 with tripod, underground vehicle or lightweight extendable boom to suit your operation. And use above ground for stockpile measurements!

The SR3 is extremely efficient, collecting point clouds in minutes, without requiring a total station. Import mine CAD strings and surfaces and overlay on scans to enhance interpretation.

Geological mapping and convergence monitoring

Take underground face mapping and interpretation to the next level. Annotate scan images with CAD and text while in the field and import this information into Maptek PointStudio with the scan data. Couple with Maptek Sentry for convergence and subsidence monitoring to help make your operation safe.

Reporting has never been easier - generate attractive, professional reports to hand off to planning, geotechnical and operational teams in minutes.
