Successful Mining Mission to Turkey

Maptek joined the recent Austmine ‘Mining Mission to Turkey 2013’.

During the 5 day event in Istanbul and Ankara Maptek met mining professionals from some of Turkey’s largest and most successful companies.

Turkey continues to experience growth in the mining sector, with significant investment from the Turkish Government and foreign mining organisations.

This growth is matched by an increasing demand for better technology to help improve the efficiency of mining operations. Australian technologies on show represent an important avenue for advancement.

Local mining professionals and mining graduates quickly identified the benefits of using Maptek Vulcan and I-Site products in a modern mining environment. Maptek also appreciated the opportunity to network with Vulcan customers in Turkey and receive valuable feedback.
