Maptek employees volunteer in South Africa

Monday, September 22nd, 2014

Recently, Paul Ehlers and Lauren Brown, Maptek employees from the South Africa office, took some time to visit a local charity organisation called Cotlands.

Cotlands is a non-profit, early childhood development organisation addressing the education and social crisis by establishing early learning playgroups and toy libraries in poor communities to serve vulnerable children. Maptek donated to this charity through our recently completed Golf Day.

“I feel really strongly about giving back a little bit. One small contribution will not solve poverty and hunger, but continued support from the corporate world will eventually have a large impact. I am glad that I can be part of a company that regularly provides support to communities around the world,” said Ehlers.
