Maptek has an exciting opportunity within our dedicated and growing Technical Services Team, we are looking for a driven mining engineer to join our team. As a key part of our team, your responsibilities will focus on providing technical expertise, consulting and application support services to existing and new customers across a variety of mining domains throughout Australia and the world.
Your focus will be on providing a broad range of technical services for the Mine Planning and Mine Operations areas of Maptek. This will include product implementations, upgrades and professional services as a Maptek product subject matter expert (SME), as well as input into product development.

Your areas of interest:

Your skills and experience:
Essential
- University Degree or Postgraduate qualifications in Surveying, Mining Engineering or Geology with some related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least three years relevant work experience
- Excellent knowledge of customer service principles, practices and technique
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A desire to challenge yourself and continuously improve
Desirable
- Vocational qualifications in sales or customer service
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in surveying, mine engineering, exploration or mine geology
- Previous knowledge of and experience using Maptek products
